Mental Health Workers in a 'Least-Livable City' of the US
I love being a mental health worker in Toledo, but I see our city named on all sorts of lists: "most stressed-out cities," "high violent crime rates," and even "least-livable cities."
Mental Health Workers Are on the Front Lines
Yes, we have a lot of work to do, but I want to acknowledge Toledo's mental health community working tirelessly to make our city a better place to live.
Since moving to Toledo, I've been involved in three mental health organizations, all of which were staffed with passionate and dedicated mental health workers. They deserve our support.
