Anxiety Relief Exercise to Help You Tap into Your Calm

You may have been advised to notice what you're feeling in your body when you experience anxiety symptoms. It can be helpful in some circumstances to notice where tension and stress sit in the body. But when you're experiencing anxiety or stress, it may be more helpful to tap into the place that feels most calm or neutral in your body. In the video below, I demonstrate a simple anxiety relief exercise that taps into your body resource. I'd love to hear how this works for you.

This was so helpful, Melissa. I have ADHD and sensory processing issues, plus I'm a mom, and I am trying to get to the place where my kids can just be kids without worrying about whether their mom is stressed out or not. I want to welcome all the ways that they want to be. I will be using this technique.
