Video on Electroconvulsive Therapy for Depression (ECT)

Video on Electroconvulsive Therapy, also known as Shock Therapy, used as treatment for treatment-resistant major depression.

Electroconvulsive Therapy or Shock Therapy (ECT), can be a positive experience. Carol Kivler wrote a post for HealthyPlace, 50 ECT Treatments: Clinical Depression Brought Me to My Knees, and was our guest on the HealthyPlace Mental Health TV Show and she talked about how ECT helped with her hard to treat major (clinical) depression. However that video is no longer available. Fortunately, Ms. Kivler continues to post videos on YouTube about ECT for treatment-resistent clinical depression.
