Are you worried about how social distancing will affect your recovery? Use these tips to keep yourself safe and healthy.

In the last few weeks, coronavirus (COVID-19) has impacted nearly every aspect of our lives, and that includes mental illness recovery. Thanks to social distancing, the practice of keeping your distance from others to help prevent the spread of the disease, many of us have been cut off from our typical support systems. But this doesn't mean your mental health recovery has to suffer.

3 Tips to Maintain Your Recovery Despite Social Distancing

I've come up with three strategies for maintaining my recovery through the process of social distancing: video chat, activities, and limitations on social media. I talk about them more in-depth in the video below.

This is a wonderful read to come across. Right now is a time for connection and support. We are so fortunate to have things like the internet and social media as a way of maintaining our connections even when safely remaining home as much as possible.
